Wealth, Prosperity & Giving

Money is something we handle every day. But how deeply does the Bible inform what we do with it? If we truly want to honor the Lord in how we use it, how should we be using our wealth?

Jesus knew that how we think about money shapes our character. Our approach can make us more like Him, full of contentment, purpose, and freedom, or it can cause a tragic separation from God and the joy he offers. If you were to read all the verses in the Bible dealing with money, you would find that a vast number of them are about generosity—giving to the work of the Lord and helping people in need. Over and over, God tells us to be generous people.

In this 2-week study, discover what the Bible says about wealth, prosperity, and how we are called to use the prosperity that God has blessed us with.

  • Recognize everything you “own” actually belongs to God.
  • Discover how the joy of giving can make your life richer, starting today.
  • Embrace the truth that God has blessed you in order for you to bless others.

And Mary said,“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior… For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts; he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his offspring forever.”
